Academic background

I am a gold medalist in M.Sc. in Regulatory Governance (2013-15) from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Did my masters dissertation on “Incentive Based Regulation: A case study of Regulatory Methods in Electricity Distribution Sector of Maharashtra”. It included assessment of regulatory methods in electricity sector with the focus on efficiency improvement of service providers and protection of consumer interests. The research study found out that apart from the factors mentioned in theory, there are several external factors that determine power of incentive schemes. Incorporation of suitable incentive based regulation methods to address the external factors was suggested as a reform measure.
