The 2020 OECD Digital Economy Outlook is now out. It deals with the impact that the COVID-19 had on digital economy. Digital technologies (e.g. teleworking, e-commerce, and distance learning) indeed became crucial in ensuring that society did not “stop” in several fields from education to health. The Outlook explores several issues related to digital technologies: they include the so called digital divide, access and connectivity, the privacy-related problems, digital security, and many others.
