“Legislation in progress”: the new EPRS service to track EU legislation procedures

Among the various services offered by the European Parliamentary Research Service (EPRS) there is the systematic and automatic analysis on all substantial proposals for EU legislation at every stage of the legislative procedure. The EPRS publishes on a regular basis the reports named “Legislation in Progress”. These reports are aimed at tracking progresses on the EU legislation as it passes through the various stages. To this end, each report include on the front page a “traffic light” to illustrate which stage the concerned legislation has reached. Additionally, the EPRS publishes reports on specific policies, e.g. the landing obligation, fisheries, air pollution.
