This OECD report deals with the topics of the participation for citizens in public decision-making and deliberative process. Both of them are considered as tools to achieve better regulation outcomes and increase trust in regulators. In particular, after gathering data and evidence, and describing models of deliberative processes, the OECD identified some principles for participation, i.e. purpose, accountability, transparency, representativeness, inclusiveness, information, group deliberation, time, integrity, privacy and evaluation.
